Stephen Mark Flynn (born 13 October 1988) is a Scottish politician who has served as the Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Aberdeen South since 2019. Flynn has served as leader of the SNP in the House of Commons since December 2022, succeeding Ian Blackford. His leadership was marked by the loss of 39 seats at the 2024 general election, reducing the SNP to the second-largest party in Westminster from Scotland and the fourth-largest party in Parliament.
