The Northern Secret Society (Russian: Северное тайное общество, romanized: Severnoye taynoye obshchestvo), also called the Northern Society of the Decembrists or the Decembrists, was formed in St. Petersburg after the dissolution of the Union of Prosperity. Its members participated in the Decembrist revolt.
