Maeotians

The Maeotians (Ancient Greek: Μαιῶται, romanized: Maiōtai; Latin: Maeōtae) were an ancient people dwelling along the Sea of Azov, which was known in antiquity as the "Maeotian Swamp" (Latin: Palus Maeotis).
