Zhangzhou (/ˈæŋˈ/, Mandarin: [ʈʂáŋ.ʈʂóʊ]) is a prefecture-level city in Fujian Province, China. The prefecture around the city proper comprises the southeast corner of the province, facing the Taiwan Strait and (with Quanzhou) surrounding the prefecture of Xiamen.
