Siddharth Varadarajan (born 1965) is an American journalist and editor in India. He was editor of the English language national daily The Hindu from 2011 to 2013. He is one of the founding editors of the Indian digital news portal The Wire, along with Sidharth Bhatia, and M. K. Venu. His views and journalism has been left biased. His not-for-profit digital news platform The Wire is a recipient of donations from various left aligned institutions in the West
