The Saudi conquest of Hejaz, also known as the Second Hejaz–Nejd War, was a campaign by Ibn Saud, Sultan of the Sultanate of Nejd, against the Hashemite Kingdom of Hejaz from August 1924 to December 1925, ending with the conquest of Hejaz and its incorporation into the domains of the Third Saudi state. The conflict resulted in the fall of the Hashemite dynasty in the region and the proclamation of Ibn Saud as the King of Hejaz, leading to the formation of the Kingdom of Hejaz and Nejd.
