Saccinobaculus (/ˌsæksɪnoʊˈbækjʊləs/ SAK-sin-oh-BAK-yuul-əs) is a genus of unicellular eukaryotes that resides in the hindgut of the wood-feeding cockroach Cryptocercus punctulatus. This genus is known for its distinctive movement that resembles a snake trashing in a bag.
