Palaeopentacheles is an extinct genus of decapods that is the sole member of the family Palaeopentachelidae and lived in what is now modern day Germany (Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg) as well as the United States (Washington) from the Kimmeridgian stage of the Late Jurassic Epoch to the Rupelian stage of the Oligocene Epoch.
It contains two species, Palaeopentacheles roettenbacheri (the type species) and Palaeopentacheles starri.
