The National Transmission Corporation (Filipino: Pambansang Korporasyon sa Transmisyon), also known as TransCo, is a Philippine government-owned and controlled corporation established on June 26, 2001 by the Electric Power Industry Reform Act (Republic Act 9136), a corporate entity wholly owned by the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management (PSALM), and former originally a child agency of National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR/NPC). It is the owner of and handles cases regarding the country's power grid right-of-way or portions of a power line, and components and their lands where they are exactly located acquired and designated before the turnover of operations, management, maintenance, and eminent domain to the privately-owned National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on January 15, 2009. It also served as operator of the grid from March 1, 2003 until January 2009 when it became separate from NAPOCOR/NPC.

TransCo is also responsible for protecting the national government's interests by monitoring NGCP's compliance with the standards set by its concession agreement with NGCP, congressional franchise and other relevant laws, divest remaining sub-transmission assets to technically and financially qualified electric distributors nationwide, and undertake the operations, maintenance, consultancy and other technical services for the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB). It is also in charge of administering the FIT to renewable power generators.
