Lopata (pronounced [lɔˈpaːta], German: Schaufel) is a village in the hills south of Žužemberk in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The Municipality of Žužemberk is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.
