Line 9 of the Shenzhen Metro opened on 28 October 2016. The line runs East–West from Qianwan to Wenjin. It has 32 stations, including 10 transfer stations and is 36.18 km (22.48 mi) long, running through the city's districts of Nanshan, Futian and Luohu.
