Khatun Jan Baygum

Khatun Jan Begum was one of the prominent women of the Qara Qoyunlu dynasty and among its most powerful and influential female figures. During the reign of her husband, Jahan Shah Qara Qoyunlu, Khatun Jan Begum possessed remarkable social and political insight for her time, which made her highly favored by the king.
