Bovec (pronounced [ˈbɔ̀ːʋəts] ⓘ; Italian: Plezzo, German: Flitsch, Pless, Friulian: Plèz) is a town in the Littoral region in northwestern Slovenia, close to the border with Italy. It is the central settlement of the Municipality of Bovec.
