The BYD Sealion 05 EV, or the plug-in hybrid variant BYD Sealion 05 DM-i (second generation) (Chinese: 比亚迪海狮05 EV; pinyin: Bǐyǎdí Hǎishī 05 EV; lit. 'BYD sea lion 05 EV') is a battery electric compact crossover SUV manufactured by BYD Auto since 2025. It is part of the "Sealion" (海狮; Hǎishī) line-up of SUVs under the Ocean Series product line-up that are distributed through Ocean Network dealerships in China.
The plug-in hybrid variant of a BYD Sealion 05 EV was unveiled through MIIT filings on January 2026, which is now called the second generation BYD Sealion 05 DM-i, using the same body design as the BYD Sealion 05 EV.
