ABS-CBN is a Philippine media network, serving as the flagship media brand of ABS-CBN Corporation, a subsidiary of Lopez Holdings Corporation. With current locations at the ELJ Communications Center at Mother Ignacia Avenue, corner Sergeant Esguerra Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, and ABS-CBN Soundstage (also known as Horizon IT Park) in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, it is known as the "Kapamilya Network" (”family” in Filipino) since its introduction in 2003.
Formerly known as the Philippines' largest television network in its flagship station DWWX-TV, ABS-CBN was the oldest television broadcaster in Southeast Asia, launched on October 23, 1953, making it one of the oldest television broadcasters in Continental Asia. In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the network shut down its broadcast operations following the non-renewal of its broadcast franchise, since it was first shut down in 1972 following the martial law period under former president Ferdinand Marcos.
After its closure, ABS-CBN shifted instead to alternative platforms such as cable (Kapamilya Channel and The Filipino Channel) and digital (Kapamilya Online Live and iWant) globally, with several partnerships and blocktime agreements with Zoe Broadcasting Network (A2Z) and former rivalries TV5 (formerly), GMA Network; and Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS; ALLTV), in which it assigned its former frequencies, and airing its programs, restoring its brand in 2026, and improving the company's performance, where it would no longer pursue a new broadcast franchise to continue traditionally. The ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel currently has 54.7 million subscribers, making it as the most subscribed to in the Philippines and the 80th most subscribed in the world overall.
As of 2026, the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center and the Millennium Transmitter (its former headquarters and facilities) is set to be demolished after selling its property to Ayala Land a year prior after the shutdown in 2020.
