Zwönitz (German pronunciation: [ˈtsvøːnɪts] ⓘ; Upper Sorbian: Zwonica) is a town in the district Erzgebirgskreis, in Saxony, Germany. It is situated 9 km (5.6 mi) south of Stollberg, and 24 km (15 mi) southwest of Chemnitz.
