Zsolt Semjén (Hungarian pronunciation: [ʒolt ˈʃɛmjeːn]; born 8 August 1962) is a Hungarian politician. He was a member of Parliament between 1994 and 1998 and was reelected in 2002. Since 2003, he has been the chairman of the Christian Democratic People's Party. Minister without portfolio and Deputy Prime Minister in the second, third, fourth and fifth cabinet of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Semjén became the leader of the Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP) in 2003 and formed a coalition with Fidesz in 2005.
