Zoran Perišić (Serbian Cyrillic: Зоран Перишић; born March 16, 1940) is a Serbian-born visual effects artist and film director. He is best known for creating the "Zoptic" front projection process, which was invented to achieve the flying scenes in Superman (1978). For this, Perisic won a Special Achievement Academy Award and a BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award. He was also nominated for Best Visual Effects Oscar for the film Return to Oz (1985).
