San Lorenzo Zinacantán ( /siˈnɑːnkɑːnˌtɑːn/) is a town and municipality in the Mexican state of Chiapas in southern Mexico. 99.1% of its population is Tzotzil Maya, an indigenous people with linguistic and cultural ties to other highland Maya peoples.
