Zarrar Shah (Urdu: ضرار شاہ, born 16 April 1979) is the Lashkar-e-Taiba's communications and technology chief, and also one of its primary liaisons with the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. According to The New York Times, Shah is "a senior Lashkar commander" and "a central character" behind the plot of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Fox News reports Shah communicated with gunmen over the telephone and helped direct their activities as he watched the events unfold on television.
