Yitzhak Amit (Hebrew: יצחק עמית; born Yitzhak Goldfreund; Hebrew: יצחק גולדפריינד; 20 October 1958) is an Israeli jurist currently serving as President of the Supreme Court of Israel since February 2025, having been the court's acting president from October 2024 to February 2025. He has been a justice of the Supreme Court of Israel since 2009. He is widely considered as a liberal justice and has had a major impact on the Supreme Court.
