The Yên Thế Insurrection or officially Yên Thế Uprising (Vietnamese: Khởi nghĩa Yên Thế) was a 25-year-long popular revolt in Yên Thế Rural District of Tonkin, against the French protectorate and in defiance of the Nguyễn Dynasty's collaborative stance.
