Alexander Victor Schauffele (/ˈzændər ˈʃfəl/; born October 25, 1993) is an American professional golfer. In 2017, Schauffele had a stellar inaugural season on the PGA Tour, winning two events, including the Tour Championship, and earned Rookie of the Year honors. Over the ensuing years, Schauffele became known as one of the most consistent players in the world, winning a number of PGA Tour events, earning a gold medal at the 2021 Olympics, and regularly finishing in the top 5 of the year-end FedEx Cup standings. In 2024, Schauffele had his best season, winning two major championships, the PGA Championship and the Open Championship, while ascending to #2 in the world.
