Wissen (German pronunciation: [ˈvɪsn̩] ⓘ) is a town in the district of Altenkirchen, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the river Sieg, approximately 12 km northeast of Altenkirchen.
Wissen is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Wissen.
