William Theodore deWit, Q.C. (born June 13, 1961) is a Justice of the Alberta Court of Appeal sitting in Calgary since 2023. Previously, he was a Judge of the Court of Queen's Bench (appointed 2017), a criminal defence lawyer and a professional boxer. He represented Canada at the 1984 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal in the heavyweight division. DeWit and teammate Shawn O'Sullivan were heavily touted going into the Games, as both had won the world championship.
