William Hadden Whyte, FSA, FRHistS (born 1975) is a British academic historian specialising in the architecture of British churches, schools and universities. Since 2014, he has been Professor of Social and Architectural History at the University of Oxford, and he is Vice-President of St John's College, Oxford, as of 2018. From August 2026, he will be the general editor of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
