Vats is a former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The 123.7-square-kilometre (47.8 sq mi) municipality existed from 1891 until its dissolution in 1965. The area is now part of Vindafjord Municipality in the traditional district of Haugaland. The administrative centre was the village of Vats.
Prior to its dissolution in 1965, the 123.7-square-kilometre (47.8 sq mi) municipality was the 397th largest by area out of the 525 municipalities in Norway. Vats Municipality was the 477th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of about 1,126.
