Výškovice

Výškovice is a part of the Ostrava-Jih city borough in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Originally it was an agricultural village. In the 1960s, a development project to build new panel apartment blocks began in that area, and in 1966, Výškovice were incorporated into Ostrava. On 24 November 1990, Výškovice merged with Dubina, Hrabůvka, Zábřeh and Bělský Les to form one of the 23 self-governing boroughs of Ostrava.
