Uvinsky District (Russian: Уви́нский райо́н; Udmurt: Ува ёрос, Uva joros) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the southwestern central part of the republic. The area of the district is 2,445.4 square kilometers (944.2 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Uva. Population: 39,671 (2010 census); 40,738 (2002 Census);
