Ust-Kansky District (Russian: Усть-Ка́нский райо́н, Ust'-Kanskiy rayon; Altay: Кан-Оозы аймак, romanized: Qan-Ôzı aymaq; Kazakh: Қан ауданы, romanizedQan awdanı) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the ten in the Altai Republic, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 6,244 square kilometers (2,411 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Ust-Kan. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 15,007, with the population of Ust-Kan accounting for 27.5% of that number.
