Uran Islampur, officially Ishwarpur, is a city and a municipal council in Sangli district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
The 2011 Census of India recorded a total of 67,391 residents in the town, predominantly Hindu and Muslim. Uran Islampur's geographical area is 40.42 square kilometres (15.61 sq mi). The town has "poor roads, lack of clean water and inadequate public facilities".
The oldest part of Islampur is known as Uran, and contains the Uranai Devi temple.
