Uppum Mulakum (transl.Salt and Pepper) is an Indian Malayalam-language sitcom that premiered on Flowers TV on 14 December 2015. Created by R. Unnikrishnan, who directed Seasons 1 and 2, the series follows the everyday life of Balachandran Thampi, his wife Neelima, and their five children. The third season began under the direction of Afsal Abdul Latheef, later succeeded by Suhil Raj A. S. The main cast includes Biju Sopanam, Nisha Sarangh, Rishi S. Kumar, Juhi Rustagi, Al Sabith, Shivani Menon, and Baby Ameya (introduced in May 2018). Parvathy Ayyappadas joined in February 2023 as Diya, Vishnu's wife, but Vishnu & His wife character exited after Season 02. Sidharth Prabu joined as Lakshmi's ( Lechu's ) husband Sidhu, in Season 03 as returning from Dubai in October 2025.

The show reached its 1,000th episode in 2019 and its 2,000th episode on 27 June 2025, making it the longest-running Malayalam sitcom. Juhi Rustagi departed in 2019 after episode 1,013 but returned in Season 2. Uppum Mulakum, a highly acclaimed Malayalam sitcom, has consistently garnered popularity throughout its long run. The show won the Kerala State Television Award for Best Comedy Show in 2017 and remains one of the most popular and acclaimed sitcoms in Malayalam television.
