The Underwater Demolition Command (Greek: Διοίκηση Υποβρυχίων Καταστροφών), abbreviated as DYK (Greek: ΔΥΚ,Greek pronunciation: [ðik]) and known until 2001 as the Underwater Demolition Unit (Greek: Μονάδα Υποβρυχίων Καταστροφών), abbreviated as MYK (Greek: ΜΥΚ, Greek pronunciation: [mik]), is the elite special warfare unit of the Hellenic Navy and the corresponding naval special operations unit of the Cyprus Navy, forming the core underwater demolition and maritime commando capability of both Greece and Cyprus. Its Cypriot sister formation is the Underwater Demolition Team (MYK) of the Cyprus Navy. The unit is broadly considered equivalent to other naval special forces such as the United States Navy SEALs, the British Special Boat Service, Israel's Shayetet 13 and Germany's Kommando Spezialkräfte Marine.
