USS West Virginia (hull number SSBN-736) is a United States Navy Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine. Commissioned on 20 October 1990, she is the third U.S. Navy ship to be named for West Virginia, the 35th state, and the 11th of 18 Ohio-class submarines.
