Unison (stylised as UNISON) is the largest trade union in the United Kingdom, with over 1.3 million members who work predominantly in public services, including local government, education, health and outsourced services.

The union was formed in 1993 when three public sector trade unions, the National and Local Government Officers Association (NALGO), the National Union of Public Employees (NUPE) and the Confederation of Health Service Employees (COHSE) merged. Since 2021, UNISON's general secretary has been Christina McAnea. In December 2025, Andrea Egan was elected General Secretary and will take up the post on 21 January 2026. Egan is a member of the union's broad left faction, Time for Real Change.
