Tryphon Thomas Georgiou (/ˈɡiːɔːrdʒuː/, Greek: Τρύφων Θωμάς Γεωργίου pronounced [ˈtrifon θoˈmas ʝeorˈʝiu]; born 18 October 1956) is a Greek and American electrical engineer and applied mathematician. He has made contributions to control theory and dynamical systems. Since 2016, he is a distinguished professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).
