Trita Parsi (Persian: تریتا پارسی) is an Iranian-born Swedish writer and political analyst who is the co-founder and executive vice president of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft. He is also the founder and former president of the National Iranian American Council.
He writes articles and appears on TV to comment on foreign policy and is the author of Treacherous Alliance: The Secret Dealings of Israel, Iran, and the United States; A Single Roll of the Dice: Obama's Diplomacy with Iran; and Losing an Enemy: Obama, Iran, and the Triumph of Diplomacy. In 2010 Treacherous Alliance won the Grawemeyer Award for "Ideas Improving World Order” and the book also won the 2008 Arthur Ross Book Award from the Council on Foreign Relations.
