John "Trey" McKenney III (born September 6, 2006) is an American college basketball player for the Michigan Wolverines of the Big Ten Conference. He earned Big Ten All-Freshman honors in 2026. As a senior in high school, McKenney represented the United States national team and won a gold medal at the 2024 FIBA Under-18 AmeriCup, was the Michigan Associated Press Division 1 Player of the Year for a third consecutive season, a McDonald's All-American and Mr. Basketball of Michigan in 2025.
