Torrin A. Greathouse (stylized in all lowercase) is a poet from Central California. Her debut poetry collection, Wound from the Mouth of a Wound (Milkweed Editions, 2020), won the Kate Tufts Discovery Award and was a finalist for the 2021 Minnesota Book Awards. Her collection DEED (Wesleyan University Press, 2024) won the Stonewall Book Awards' Barbara Gittings Poetry Award in 2025. Greathouse was a 2021 National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellow in Poetry. She was interviewed on NPR's Morning Edition in 2020 about Wound from the Mouth of a Wound.
