Tom Rosenbauer

Tom Rosenbauer is an American fly fishing author, educator, podcast host, and television presenter who works and resides in Manchester, Vermont. He has been associated with the Orvis Company since 1976, serving in numerous roles including fishing school instructor, public relations director, merchandise manager, and his current position as marketing director for Orvis Rod and Tackle. A prolific writer, he has published over 25 books on fly fishing, as well as articles for major publications such as Field & Stream, Fly Fisherman, and Outdoor Life. He is the host of The Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast, which has been available online since April 2008 and has been downloaded more than twenty million times. Rosenbauer is also accredited with bringing Bead-Head flies to North America and inventing the Big Eye hook and the Magnetic Net Retriever.
