She won the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Memoir or Autobiography, Anisfield-Wolf Book Award, National Books Critics Circle John Leonard Prize, and a Will Eisner Comic Industry Award for Best Graphic Memoir for her book, Feeding Ghosts: A Graphic Memoir.
