Tempsford is a village and civil parish in the Central Bedfordshire district of the county of Bedfordshire, England, about 7 miles (11 km) east north-east of the county town of Bedford.
The village is split by the A1 Great North Road and is located just south of its junction with the A421 at the Black Cat roundabout. To the east of the village is the site of the former RAF Tempsford airfield.
In September 2025, the government announced Tempsford as the site for a new town, with work to begin "before the next election".
