Tehching Hsieh (Chinese: 謝德慶; born December 31, 1950), sometimes known as Sam Hsieh, is a Taiwanese-born painter and performance artist who lives in New York City. He is known for his durational art. He has been called a "master" by fellow performance artist Marina Abramović.
