Tarleton is a rural and residential locality in the local government area (LGA) of Latrobe in the North-west and west LGA region of Tasmania. The locality is about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) west of the town of Latrobe. The 2016 census has a population of 380 for the state suburb of Tarleton.
