Sven Koenig is Chancellor’s Professor and Bren Chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. He received an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1991 and a Ph.D. in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1997, advised by Reid Simmons.
