Suzerain is a text based government simulation visual novel developed by Berlin-based studio Torpor Games and published by Fellow Traveller. It was released for Windows, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, macOS, iOS, Nintendo Switch and Android in the years from 2020 to 2025. In 2021, Suzerain received the People's Choice Award at the Games for Change Awards, and the German Computer Game Award for "Best Expert Game."
An expansion for the game, called Suzerain: Kingdom of Rizia, was released in 2024. Another DLC expansion with the working title Project Aperture is expected to release in 2026. Alongside this DLC, Project Vanguard is another DLC that is under development. A standalone video game titled The Conformist, also set in the Suzerain universe, is currently under development, alongside Project Fulcrum, which is the working name for another standalone video game set in the Suzerain universe.
