The 1998 Survivor Series was the 12th annual Survivor Series professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). It took place on November 15, 1998, at the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

The event featured a 14-man single-elimination tournament for the vacant WWF Championship; as a result, it was the first Survivor Series event not to feature its eponymous elimination match. In the tournament final, The Rock defeated Mankind with assistance from Mr. McMahon (who, in similar fashion to the "Montreal Screwjob" from last year's Survivor Series, ordered the referee to end the match as The Rock held Mankind in a Sharpshooter, even though he had not submitted) to claim the title.

Two other championships were also defended on the undercard, with Sable defeating Jacqueline in the first defense of the WWF Women's Championship since its reactivation, and the New Age Outlaws defending their WWF Tag Team Championship in a triple threat match.
