Steven Hayden Pollock (August 12, 1947 – February 1, 1981) was an American mycologist who studied psychoactive mushrooms and published many articles on the potential of mushrooms to treat illness and improve quality of life. He was shot dead in his office and the murder remains unprosecuted.
