Stephen John Finnan (born 24 April 1976) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a right-back. He is the only player to have played in the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, UEFA Intertoto Cup, Premier League, all three levels of the Football League, and non-League.
A right-back, Finnan is known for his attacking role and ability to cross the ball. Among the honours won during his career were the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final and the 2006 FA Cup Final for Liverpool.
Finnan played 52 internationals for the Republic of Ireland, scoring twice. He played for them at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
