Stephen Budiansky (/bʌdiˈænski/; born March 3, 1957) is an American writer, historian and biographer, best known for his books on animal behaviour and his criticism of animal rights. He is also the author of a number of scholarly publications about the history of cryptography, military and intelligence history, and music.
